NBC Nightly News cleverly cropped a photo of President Bush so that the letters “ILIE” were in the background, right next to his face. “I lie,” get it? (The word in the background was really “FAMILIES.”)
Maybe they’ll use this photo for their next Kerry-Edwards story?

The political world was rocked on Sunday, when we revealed the “cheat sheet” which John Kerry had illicitly smuggled into the Sept. 30 debate against squinting President George W. Bush. Doubts were raised immediately about the authenticity of that document — so immediately that some questioned the timing and coordination of the attacks.
“I question the timing of these attacks. And the coordination of them as well,” said some.
But today, Gleeson.us has obtained a newly unearthed corroborating piece of evidence: a cheat sheet for tonight’s planned debate between Kerry’s glamorous running mate John Edwards and Bush’s glabrous Vice President Richard Cheney.

The handwriting on the two cheat sheets is a “spot-on match,” say 100 percent of the document experts we consulted.
“Absolutely the same handwriting. This would seem to authenticate both documents, since they corroborate each other,” they all said in unison, asking not to be identified.
Meanwhile, we notice Wizbang is saving their number one spot for somebody. Maybe it’s us? (UPDATE: Dang it, it was Gordon Cooper.)
