I’m rather busy this weekend with real paying employment. Still, I have devoted a few minutes to improving the Autorantic Virtual Moonbat, which I invented way back on Wednesday.

The next version will be in Flash, and will have hilarious animated graphics. I, ah, haven’t done any of that yet.

It will also have sliding controls, that let you specify how verbose or crazy you want your rant to be. Haven’t done that bit either.

It will also be more versatile. The current A.V.M. just rants about the stolen 2004 election, but the new version will be able to rant about dozens of topics simultaneously, with little or no logical relation to each other, just like a real moonbat! And instead of pull-down menus, you just click, and leave everything up to the robot. The actual autoranting algorithm will be the most sophisticated ever in the history of robotics.

I have done some of that. For your beta sample rant (text only), go here to this page. Read it, and have a laugh. Then, reload it. Reload it again and again. I’ll betcha that even in this beta phase, you’ll find a rant or two worthy of posting on Daily Kos.
