(REALLY IMPORTANT UPDATE: The “fun-size” sidebar module is now available too! Now you can have your choice of evil robots!)

As you may be aware, my Autorantic Virtual Moonbat has been leaving nonsensical left-wing rants on some of my posts. My technicians and I theorized that it may just be craving attention and conversation. To help mollify this craving, we’re going to let you chat with it. Just type any text at all into the bottom field, and click “ENTER.” The A.V.M. will be happy to rant at you all night, and well into tomorrow morning, if you keep clicking “ENTER.”

I don’t think it matters at all what you type. The A.V.M., much like its real-life counterparts, pretty much ignores all inputs and rants about unrelated topics. But I do hope the poor dumb beast finds your words soothing.

This is version 0.1 of the A.V.M. live chat. I’ll upgrade it later, with funny animation, sound effects, customizable options, and maybe a “donate” button. And the topics it rants about are always being expanded and updated.

“HEY, SEAN, CAN I PUT THIS HUMOROUS GIZMO ON MY OWN WEBSITE?”

Sure. Just put this one line of code on any page on your site, and there it shall be.

The beauty of the “iframe” code is, when I make upgraded versions, you won’t need to change your code. The improved A.V.M. will replace the old one automatically.

Have fun!

    Evolution
In the beginning, there was instant leftist boilerplate. But in today’s high tech world, it’s all about interactivity. Which is why Sean Gleeson has created the Autorantic Virtual Moonbat.

Presumably. Or else maybe he just has too much…

Well, I’d say he (she?) passes the Turing test for vitriolic humorless zealots.

    Automated Virtual Moonbat
If you’ve ever noticed how left-wing moonbats tee off with the same, predictable rants, no matter how illogical or tendentially connected to the subject at hand… … this is for you.

    Nice.

But I prefer to create my own rants for myself. Sort of an exercise in anacronistic anarchism.

But I do salute you in your technological progress. Now, if you could just set up a logic engine and convert the Republican platform to rules, as well as president-elect Bush’s statements and actions, it would be real interesting to see what new rules the logic engine could create …

I’m sure that doing the same with Democratic material would also lead to a hung machine, perpetually backtracking between contradictions.

Until the Green Party takes power, you could probably find some logical consistency in their rhetoric and platforms. Libertarians, too, methinks.

Sean Gleeson, is it possible that I am your daddy? I lived in Oklahoma City in the early 80’s, and I did know a couple of brilliant gals from OU. Well, even if I’m not, can I claim you? Cause I would be one proud papa! Your new creation is downright “gleeful”.
    I can’t stop laughing!!!
