A newspaper publisher called me and asked me to come fill in for a sick fellow today, so I won’t blog again until late tonight, probably.

My pal Robb Allen has posted a paean to Waffle House. You all know Robb. I just barely beat him in the Weblog Awards back in December (and more recently cleaned his clock in a Googlefight).

I also love Waffle House. Besides their yummy food (my favorite is “Chris’s Texas Cheese Steak”), they’ve got a jukebox with songs about Waffle House! You can hear the first minute or so of 10 of the songs here. To hear the whole song, just go to your nearest Waffle House, and drop in a quarter.
