This morning I pruned my links sidebar. Added five new links, took away five old links. It’s not a long list of links, compared to some, but it’s really as long as I can manage right now.

My sidebar links are some of the sites I enjoy and visit often, though it’s not a complete list. There are certainly some sites I enjoy and visit often that aren’t included. But if it’s any comfort, I can confidently assert that you’re never more than two clicks away from any of the sites I admire, since I link to some sites with much more exhaustive blogrolls than mine.

My list is not based on who links to me; some of them do, some of them don’t. I rather expect the persons who link to my blog to do so because they like it (or because it meets whatever criteria they have for inclusion), not because they are transacting a quid pro quo. That being said, I would like to thank all of you who do link to blog.gleeson.us, and I’ll herewith link to all of you at once. Thanks!

THE NEWCOMERS

Itsapundit started out as an April Fool’s Day prank, but it seems to have staying power. I’ve added it to the Humor category, along with the hilarious IMAO.

I’ve decided to link to Basil’s Blog, even though it means his text ad is now a falsehood.

Michael Bates and Okiedoke have been tapped to round out my Okies category.
