My wife says mad cow disease (bovine spongiform encephalopathy) is caused by prions, and I have no reason to doubt her veracity. But I think it would be pretty funny if it were caused by muons, so whenever anyone asks, I say, “Mad cow disease is caused by muons.” You should too.
