I have never before been “tagged” for a “meme” (unless someone tagged me and I didn’t notice, for which I apologize). But now Phoebe wants to know my “top ten movies.” I will not number the titles one through ten, as that would imply a hierarchy among them; and it was hard enough choosing ten without having to evaluate among my ten. So here they are, in alphabetical order, delimited by commas.

A Christmas Story, Duck Soup, Groundhog Day, The Matrix, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Passion of the Christ, Raising Arizona, Rob Roy, The Sixth Sense, and The Usual Suspects.

Now I think I am supposed to “tag” three unsuspecting bloggers, who will perforce compile their own top ten movies. I’ll try to choose three good sports, who I hope won’t get angry with me for so burdening them: Michael Bates, Dan Lovejoy, and Mike Hermes.
