Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean has decided to go on the attack against Supreme Court Justice nominee Samuel Alito, even before his confirmation hearings have started. Dean sent out a press release on Wednesday, Jan. 4, calling Sam Alito all kinds of evil.

That’s why I made this funny animation I call “Dean’s Song.” (Yes, I titled the cartoon “Dean’s Song” even though the song in it is titled “Sam’s Song.”)

UPDATE: For related coverage, please see the satirical Alito Hearing Comics!

    They call it “Dean’s Song”

Well, actually, they call it “Sam’s Song”; when Bing Crosby recorded it back in 1950, it didn’t occur to him to retitle it “Bing’s Song” — or, for that matter,…

Priceless! Expect kudos from the right and moronic comments about racism from the left.

    Great job.

    Dean’s Song

To commemorate Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean’s decision to go on the attack against Supreme Court Justice nominee Samuel Alito, before his confirmation hearings have even started, Sean Gleeson whipped up a little animation called …

Outstanding! I think, however, that Dean’s mouth should be a little bigger to give it that “lifelike” look. Just Kidding! Great job! Wish I had this kind of talent.

    Sam’s Song

Cranky at Six Meat Buffet points out Dean’s Song, a Sean Gleeson production.

And, before you ask, it’s not that kind of joke.

    Let The Battle Begin

Earlier this week, DNC Chairman Howard Dean came out with this diatribe against Judge Samuel Alito’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
In response, Sean Gleeson created this musical duet between the mouth of Vermont and the Judge from New Jersey. …..

If only politicians actually harmonized this well

Howard Dean and Sam Alito really get the chance to give the public a song and dance! (Paraphrasing Tom Lehrer.) Animation by Sean Gleeson. Also found a link to this clip on Sean’s site. Have no explanation for it, but it does seem like more evidence …

Kickass job, Sean. Even the libs I showed it to laughed their asses off.

The Bush vs. Kerry Jibjab animation (This Land Is Your Land) was great, but every satirical animation Jibjab has done since then has sucked.
