Have you seen all those photos of Fidel Castro recuperating in the hospital, smiling and waving? Sitting up in his hammer-and-sickle jammies and taking a cup of coffee? Reading the newspaper?

Me neither. It’s funny, but the commies, who assured us again today that El Comandante is “animated and in good spirits,” have not released a single photo of him since July 26. No video, and no voice recordings either.

It leads me to suspect that maybe, just maybe the spirits Fidel is among are not the good kind.

But at least one of their statements has been confirmed. I can tell you, with absolute certainty, that Mr. Castro is, indeed, animated.
