Yesterday, surrounded by other supporters of the Communist regime, little Elian Gonzalez wrote a get well note to Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Addressed to his “Grandpa Fidel,” the letter contains the 13-year-old’s heartfelt condolences, and even some light-hearted humor, to lift the spirits of the ailing tyrant.

We have obtained an exclusive copy of Elian’s letter to Castro. Translated into English, it reads:
Grandpa Fidel,
I heard the news that you aredeadsick.
I hope that your condition changes, if that’s possible.
But, if you die, may I please go back to Florida?
Ha, ha! I am KIDDING! Really! Ha, ha.
Kisses:
Elian Gonzalez
Mr. Gonzalez “now wishes to be in total privacy during this difficult period of transition,” according to Cuban officials, who are taking the boy to an undisclosed location.
