As of yesterday, I am a Faithful Democrat. By which I mean, I am a registered member of the new website FaithfulDemocrats.com, an online community of Americans coming together to spin liberal talking points so as to camouflage the Democratic Party’s opposition to Christianity. (I found the site via Glenn, and I see Chaz has somehow found it too.)
I hasten to point out, you don’t have to be a Democrat to be a Faithful Democrat. “Participants in our community don’t have to be Christians or Democrats,” they say, and I’m glad to hear it. By way of disclosure, I am not a Democrat.
For a glimpse into the collective mind of the Faithful Democrats, just look at their Talking Points pages, where they have helpfully scripted evasive responses, backed up by Biblical citations, to deflect any criticism of the anti-Christian platform of their party.
